There should never be an empty seat in any venue

Parents cry sometimes when we give them tickets to take their kids to a movie or a ball game -- both from gratitude and the joy that comes from having an opportunity to be a Dragonfly outside of the hospital. Giving a family tickets to an event gives them the opportunity to create a memory in good times that can help sustain them in bad times.

Thanks to donated tickets, the young boy in the photo and his family were able to attend the Lego Convention in Cincinnati. While he was there, he made a Lego square for a "quilt" that was on display. Out of all the designs he could have created, he chose to make a Dragonfly!

Thanks to Cincinnati Bell's cNotify Unified Messaging Solution, The Dragonfly Foundation has the ability to accept and distribute tickets to families, even on short notice. With this service, we can call, text and email families when we have ticket opportunities available. (cNotify is a service commonly used by schools, universities and others to inform people about snow emergencies and other critical messages.)

Suites and box seats Are Made For Kids With Compromised Immune Systems

Please do not let tickets -- especially for suites or box seats -- go to waste!

If you would like to donate tickets or an unused suite, please contact Ria Davidson, Dragonfly Vice President & Co-Founder, at 513/494-6474.

"We are so blessed to be a part of The Dragonfly Foundation. Tomorrow we are able to take R to the Circus in a safe protected environment. Even though she is doing really well right now, she is still very immunocompromised and we have to take a lot of precautions to make sure she stays on the right path. Thank you (Dragonfly) for allowing us to be a family and spend time together! It means the world to us. ♥"
