About the dragonfly foundation(tdf)
The Dragonfly Foundation was created based on firsthand experience of what families diagnosed with cancer or blood diseases need to live their lives while managing the day-to-day challenges of treatment. The Dragonfly Foundation (TDF) supports families along their journey through treatment and healing. We offer C.A.R.E.:

The Dragonfly Foundation, a 501(c)(3) was established in August 2010, following ten-year-old Matt Neitzke’s seven-month battle with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma Stage 3A. Matt’s bout of pneumonia led to a routine CT scan and a seven-month journey of chemotherapy, radiation and what seemed like a never ending stream of health scares, prolonged hospital stays and continuous side effects. Thankfully, the Neitzke family was embraced by many different communities. Support came in the form of meals, house/yard cleaning, small acts of kindness…and distractions that brought joy and time together as a family. Unfortunately, many families do not have such a support system as they face the horrible reality of a life threatening diagnosis. It was from this realization that The Dragonfly Foundation was born.
